Privacy policy
This policy explains how dentaltourism.uk collects, uses and protects your personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Last updated 14 June 2026.
Who we are
dentaltourism.uk ("we", "us") is an independent editorial guide to dental tourism for UK patients. We are the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us through our enquiry forms, which may include your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country of residence, the treatment you are considering and any details you add to your message. We also collect limited, non-identifying technical data (such as anonymised analytics) to understand how the site is used.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a treatment plan or quote — on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To connect you with a recommended clinic or partner where you ask us to — on the basis of your consent.
- To improve the site using aggregated, anonymised analytics — on the basis of legitimate interest.
Who we share it with
When you submit an enquiry, we share the details you provide with our lead-handling partner (Offerqo) and, where relevant, the dental clinic best placed to help — so that you can receive a treatment plan and quote. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing.
International transfers
Because dental tourism involves clinics outside the UK, your enquiry details may be transferred to a clinic abroad (for example in Turkey) for the sole purpose of preparing your treatment plan. We take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry data only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies & analytics
We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to measure traffic. We do not use intrusive advertising trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
